Welcome to all the 2010 babies to be born
We've come to another year. Wow.
Common Knowledge Trust gets so many questions about The Pink Kt Method For Birthing Better®.
One question pregnant moms and expectant fathers want to know is how The Pink Kit Method differs from childbirth classes or the pregnancy books they read.
The answer is complex actually:
-
The Pink Kit Method is only about skills ... the skills to prepare your pregnant body for birth and the birth and coaching skills you both need to use to work with your baby's efforts to be born ... in whatever birth you have!
-
The Pink Kit Method is the only pregnancy and childbirth method that is entirely based on our human body which both women and men share. This makes the skills simple to learn.
-
The Pink Kit Method is the only pregnancy and childbirth method that does not divide pregnancy and birth. Pregnancy is always the time to prepare your pregnant body for the birth of your baby. Pregnancy is the time to learn the skills to work with your baby's process of being born ... in whatever birth you have including a planned, non-labouring Caesarean birth.
-
The Pink Kit Method will not give you 'information', discuss Birth Plans or the pros/cons of 'choice'. You will get that in your class and in the books you read. The Pink Kit entirely focuses on one fact along: 100%of pregnant women will give birth one way or another and The Pink Kit Method gives you the skills you both need to birth better in every type of birth.
Pink Kit families talk about what they had 'done' rather than what they had 'had'.
'The aim of education is not knowledge but action'... Herbert Spencer
Another question expectant parents ask us is how The Pink Kit Method differs from specific childbirth methods such as Lamaze, The Bradley Method, Active Birth, Hypno-birth, Orgasmic Birth or Birthing Within.
The answer to this is simple:
- All other childbirth methods are trying to achieve more 'natural births' and reduce medical interventions
The Pink Kit Method was birthed by hundreds of families like yours. All of us wanted the best birth possible no matter our situation. There was too much shame, blame, guilt and a sense of failure if we only looked at the birth of our child through the eyes of political issues or belief systems.
The Pink Kit Method gave us the skills to birth better in the birth we had even if it wasn't a better birth. When we birthed better by how we worked through the activity of giving birth then no one could tell us we didn't have a wonderful birth.
We learned that 'Birth' was more an action verb than a noun.
We can change the world one birth at a time when you become a skilled mother-to-be and father-to-be ... that's the long and short of it. It's your 'choice'
'I learned in my birth that I had a choice at every single moment. I could choose how to breathe in and how to exhale'. Keri
As long as you're conscious you can birth better once you've learn, practice then use your skills.
Make a New Year's resolution this year and become a skilled mother-to-be and father-to-be. You will never regret it. Your baby deserves it.
The Pink Kit Method For Birthing Better® is for you (I'm speaking to both mothers and fathers-to-be) whether you are having a medical birth or natural one. The below reviews may come more from natural birth websites ... because there are very no websites about great medical births which is a shame. We can have a great birth no matter where or how when we skillfully work with our baby's efforts to be born.

And then there's this!
One approach to pregnancy and childbirth ... is this YOU?
A pregnant woman was given The Pink Kit Package during pregnancy by her birth professional and told to learn the skills with her husband. Yes, the birth professional tells everyone that it's essential during pregnancy to prepare the pregnant body for birth and learn the skills to work with your baby's efforts to be born ... no matter what birth you will have. She says that for two reasons:
- She sees the enjoyment couples get from spending time together in the last 16 weeks of pregnancy and how much better they work as a team even if they have a non-labouring Caesarean delivery.
- She is sick and tired of seeing so many women just 'get through' and fathers not knowing what to do.
She wants change!
The pregnant mother-to-be and father-to-be did not even look through the resource which is sometimes common because there is no societal expectation that childbirth is actually an activity that is always better done with skills. She doesn't blame her clients but remains frustrated with all the 'reasonable reasons why not'.
This birth provider visited with the expectant parents and asked them 'why are you not learning the skills?' This woman said: 'When I get off work at 38 weeks then I'll go through it?' The expectant father's response was 'our childbirth class tells me I just should support her and not tell her what to do.'
As they were talking about the other 'reasonable reasons why' these people were not working through the resource, the birth professional noticed a number of catalogues about baby strollers. She asked the woman whether she was spending time researching baby strollers? The pregnant woman said: 'Oh, yes. Since I fell pregnant my husband and I have been going through lots of catalogues about baby stuff.'
With great patience, the birth professional pointed out that they could find the time to decide on baby strollers but not learn the skills to work with their baby's efforts to be born.
The couple was shocked!
Don't be one of these expectant families. One of your first acts of responsibility to your child is to help him/her to be born!
One goal of The Pink Kit Package is to give all expectant fathers the right skills to learn. Until now most fathers-to-be have felt pretty excluded from an indepth involvement with pregnancy and childbirth after all 'my baby and pregnant partner are so important I should leave it's care to the experts'. That's accurate. The care of your baby and pregnant partner is in the hands of your capable doctor or midwife.
However, you are the one who needs to know how to prepare your pregnant partner's body to give birth (and enjoy doing so!). And you are the one who needs to know what birth coaching or support skills really work with your baby's efforts to be born.
These two things ...
- Preparing the pregnant body to let out your baby
- Learning birth coaching skills
... are truly the first acts of responsibility you show toward your child in your role as dad.
You can also read or listen to the podcast.
Skills are essential to do this
activity of giving birth so you can always work with your baby's efforts to be born.
- You want to know exactly how-to prepare your pregnant
body to give birth as safely as easily as possible.
- And you want the specific
skills to do this activity of giving birth with as little suffering or trauma as
possible in whatever birth you have.
- You want to trust this natural process of giving birth without fear even if you require medical care.
- And you
want to have wonderful birth memories whether you have a planned
Caesarean or unassisted birth ... and all the other types of births.
Your Pink Kit skills will help you achieve all of this and more.
Father-to-be ... finally the RIGHT coaching skills for you.
This is your Pink Tool Kit that will show you exactly
how to be the best birth support, helper or coach in absolutely all
situations.
- You want skills that work.
- You want skills that make sense to men.
- You want skills that won't upset your birth professional.
The Pink Kit Package is an ideal gift to give yourself or others you love.
Christmas comes once a year ... New Years come once a year but giving a meaningful pregnancy or childbirth gift should come every day. So give yourself or someone special a gift that counts.
What better gift can you give
this precious baby than being able to assist it's journey? Your skills
matter to this child now, during it's birth journey and through it's
life.
Start now ... bring skills, confidence and capability to a new
year that always starts with the birth of a child.
'The Birth' Is Right Around The Corner
There is always a sense
of urgency during pregnancy about 'The Birth'. If you're 24 weeks
pregnant than you have only 16 weeks before you give birth. If you're
36 weeks into your pregnancy you have only 8 weeks left ... give or
take.
The sense of urgency, anticipation, anxiety and excitement grow with each week your pregnant belly expands.
In your heart of hearts DO you absolutely know you have the best birth and coaching skills for your birth?
