What Do All Humans Share In Common?
Too many people believe birth is 'women's business'. That excludes fathers-to-be from really feeling confident that they can help in their role of birth support or birth coach. Nonsense.
Too many people believe that because women are the only ones giving birth they automatically know how to give birth. That is nonsense. When we're hungry we don't intuitively or instinctively know which foods are safe or poisonous or how to cook.
Too many people believe that our individual Lives preclude our ability to share one set of skills for something like giving birth. Nonsense. All drivers share the same set of skills and use them. If not we'd have more chaos on the roads.
We are One Humanity. Any man can impregnate any woman. Women and men have the same bones and muscles ... and in the same places. We all blink, cough and can tighten up our rectum.
We shoot ourselves in the foot by having inaccurate beliefs that lead us to some many of the issues surrounding pregnancy and childbirth.
