'I work with a group of young teen dads. Our support service sells, lends, rents or gives The Pink Kit to all the teen dads to be. There is no doubt we have seen a huge change in these teen dads. They have more pride. Their girls absolutely adore them for being a great coach in birth. More of the teen dads are really involved in the raising of their kids and we think we're seeing more couples stay together and creating families. That was a side benefit I never thought about'.

'I was 17 when I became a father. My girl friend was just 16. We had planned to get pregnant and were really excited even if no one else was. My older sister and her husband had used The Pink Kit. My girl and I got stuck in. It was fascinating. Nothing we had learned in our sex ed. class! I loved how she looked when she was pregnant and we worked with all the stuff. 'Can't say I thought too much about giving birth when my girl friend and I found out she was pregnant. But as her belly got real big, the reality hit us both. Our midwife gave us this thing called The Pink Kit. Boy did that name turn me right off: queer or girlie. But it wasn't like that at all. I learned heaps about my body which I never thought was like my girl's at all. We did some of the internal massage too. That was sort of weird, but after two weeks, there really was a difference. At the birth of our son when I saw how big he was I was pretty stoked that we had prepared her down there. Anyway, the breathing and pelvic clock was great. My girl looked to me for help rather then the staff. They left us alone anyway. Great stuff that Pink Kit.'
