Natural Birth
Having a natural birth is so desired by many women now-a-days. As women who live in modern societies we forget that anything that happened at birth (when there is no medical care available) was still 'natural' and 'normal' even if undesired or infrequent.
Those who want a natural birth also would love to have a birth orgasm achieved by some women. Yet, for many of us we have a bit of confusion how to achieve an orgasm from painful contractions. Seems like a bit of a paradox. How did those women achieve it?
Perhaps it's a question of pain perception.
For mothers-to-be who want a natural birth the worse thing that could happen is a medical birth. Somehow a medical birth is now considered an inferior birth or even a terrible one.
But wait a minute, haven't we lost sight of something that overrides why we give birth or what happens? Hold on a minute before you go ballistic here.
Consider this. Presently women will identify their birth by saying: 'I had a home birth' or 'I had to transfer to hospital' or 'I had a vbac' or 'I had a birth orgasm' or 'a vaginal birth.'
That's exactly why we've lost sight of the relationship between pregnancy and birth. Actually all women 'have' a baby. You aren't pregnant to 'have' a home or a vaginal delivery in hospital. You are pregnant to 'have' a baby.
Once you understand that deeply and fully then your mind will open up to a whole new idea ... becoming skilled.

But isn't birth 'natural'?
Yup ... but to fully embrace that reality you must embrace the reality that natural means anything that can happen might happen. Natural birth does not mean: safe, easy, at home, with a midwife or even birth orgasm.
For forty years Pink Kit families have had Pink Kit babies. This means as a family they prepared the pregnant body to become a birthing body. We are one humanity and every pregnant body is preparing to labor even if you end up with a non-laboring Caesarean.
This means all expectant parents can become skilled birthing families! This means whether you have the natural birth you want and hope for you can always be a skilled mother-to-be and father-to-be.
Being skilled parents mean that you can always work with your baby's efforts to be born. That should be the goal of all expectant parents ... work with your baby! You are 'having' a baby. Frosting on your cake if you're blessed with an orgasmic natural birth.
