I used to think doctors knew everything. What I discovered is that they know what they know and I KNOW HOW TO BREATHE WELL THROUGH A CONTRACTION! Yea, for The Pink Kit'.

'My best friend and husband spent an afternoon watching the first few sections of the Kit together. What a hoot! We discovered so much about our own bodies! We never learned any of this in high school or in our antenatal classes. Our doctor was impressed by me and how they helped me. Joan.' Barbara and Henry

'We asked our doctor about The Pink Kit. She told us whatever we wanted to do was fine. At first she was concerned that using The Pink Kit resources meant that we were going to argue about everything she thought was necessary to do. Although we did have a birth plan we presented to her, she came to realize that The Pink Kit was something else. She encouraged us to work with the resources and was delighted at how we managed our labour'. Roberts

'My wife and I fought for months about our birth plan. I wanted her to do it as naturally as possible. She told me in no uncertain terms that it was her body and she didn't want any pain. A another sparky told me about The Pink Kit and how it had helped them. He gave me their copy. I almost had to force it down my wife's throat. She won't even listen to the audio tape about The Internal Work. She thought I was trying to persuade her to do something she didn't want to do. Finally, she settled down and we watched the first two sections on Directed Breathing and Mapping The Pelvis. What an amazing shift in her! Bowled me right over. It turns out that she was just afraid of pain because she didn't feel she knew anything. We had a great birth. She still used some gas but then it made her head funny, so instead she turned to me to help her focus better. That was the highlight of the birth to me. By the way, she's totally committed to doing The Internal Work next time. Our doctor told us he wished more fathers would be so involved and that it was great for him to see my wife turn to me instead of using pain relief'.

'Using The Pink Kit to prepare for the birth of our baby really helped us. We realized that we had a job to do even in the hospital. Our doctor was very supportive of us learning breathing and relaxation techniques. In labour, we just put all our skills to use. My husband had written out all the exercises so he wouldnt forget. Our doctor was amazed at how easily our baby delivered. I actually never told him about the internal work, but I knew it helped. Family Australia My wife and I both work. We couldn't make it to the local childbirth classes because of our schedules. My mother actually gave us The Pink Kit. We loved it. We could take 20 minutes to watch a section and do another 20 minutes together after we had both wound down from our day. Once we went through the sections, we could spend 5 minutes several times a week going over this or that so we could keep it in our minds. I did the internal work 3 times a week, but my wife did it every day. Boy was I glad. Our little whopper was anything but little and I suddenly had a reality check about how big baby's really are. We worked great together in labour. Next time, I'm doing more of the internal work with her.Our doctor was almost invisible, doing whatever he had to do'.
